International Funding-Campaign to support the Internationalist Commune in Rojava
Different internationalists from all over the world have been taking part in the Rojava’s and Northern Syria’s Revolution. Inspired by the struggle, work and perspective the people of Rojava are giving a big solidarity movement has been raising in Europe and hundreds, maybe thousands traveled there to support the revolution directly. Many great comrades even gave their life for that cause. In the beginning of this year the Internationalist Commune of Rojava has been constituted. With the support of the comrades of the Youth Union of Rojava (YCR/YJC) the building of the first non-military Academy has started for organizing a new generation of internationalists aiming to challenge capitalist modernity.
Until today coordinating educations, language trainings and organizing delegations has been an essential part of the Internationalist Commune and now they are making the next step to build up an internationalist academy and cooperative. We want to support that afford of internationalists in Rojava.
The embargo against the people of Rojava creates a lack of many things, while most of the ressources are spent to the defense of the Northern Syria Self Administration. Building new structures need support and solidarity.
To preserve their self-organized and self-funded organization and to be able to continue their work the Internationalist Commune of Rojava needs financial support. Let’s support the Internationalist Commune of Rojava, which gathers communists, anarchists and antifascist militants who came to develope hand by hand with our comrades of Rojava this revolution. Let’s bring our political and material support by funding the construction of the Internationalist Academy of the Internationalist Commune of Rojava.

Unterstützt die Internationalistische Kommune Rojavas
„Solidarität ist, was wir wollen. Wir wollen unsere Kräfte vereinen. Unsere Unterdrücker haben sich vereint, wir müssen dasselbe tun“, schrieb die britische Gewerkschafterin Mary Harris Jones schon am Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts. Für die Vereinigung unserer Kräfte spielt der Internationalismus eine entscheidende Rolle.
Eines der Zentren internationaler Solidarität sind derzeit die befreiten Gebiete im Norden Syriens. Dort entsteht nun die erste zivile Akademie für InternationalistInnen. AktivistInnen aus dem Mittleren Osten, Asien, Afrika, Europa, Amerika und Ozeanien und aus verschiedenen politischen Traditionen wollen einen Ort schaffen, an dem neu ankommende GenossInnen die lokalen Sprachen lernen, die Ideologie und Geschichte der Bewegung kennenlernen und gemeinsam diskutieren können. Unterstützt werden sie dabei von der Vereinigung der Jugend Rojavas (YCR/YJC).
Der Aufbau der Infrastruktur für eine solche Akademie braucht Ressourcen. Derzeit arbeiten die GenossInnen vor Ort mit nichts weiter als Schaufeln, Lehm und einfachsten Werkzeugen. Mit eurer Hilfe wollen wir die Mittel zusammenstellen, die ihnen die Arbeit erleichtern: Gelder für Baugeräte, Zement und Ziegel, ein für Transportarbeiten notwendiges Auto.
Dass die kurdische Bewegung in Syrien die Möglichkeit für eine solche internationalistische Akademie eröffnet, ist eine große Chance – auch für die europäische Linke. Wir sollten diese Möglichkeit nutzen.
